Advertising visibility: an essential KPI in media strategy

Advertising visibility corresponds to the fact that an impression (banner or video) is actually seen by the user. According to MRC standards, a banner is visible if 50% of its surface is displayed on the screen for at least 1 second (2 seconds for a video). This KPI is central to optimizing a digital marketing campaign, as an unseen impression has no impact. Visibility is also closely linked to brand awareness and the effectiveness of advertising formats.
